Engineers’ Welfare Forum of The West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited is a professional association dedicated to excellence for the benefit of the organization. EWF and its members will inspire through technical seminar and discussion with advancement of modern technology. It had started its journey on 14.03.2011.
EWF creates an environment where members collaborate with different units by exchanging their views. The strategic plan of EWF is driven by an envisioned future that realizes the full potential of the role of EWF in advancing technology for the organization and humanity as a whole.
Engineers’ Welfare Forum has been established with the aim of to provide a common forum for discussion and exchange of views on various problems, technical and administrative working so far as these relate to or affect the Forum and its Members with a view to improving proficiency in Public Service, to inculcate and promote better understanding, mutual goodwill co-operation, team spirit and high sense of duty among its members in the discharge of their responsibilities, to promote common interests, legitimate rights and act towards the redressal of genuine grievances of its members.
In future we will create Engineers’ Welfare Fund to provide legitimate co-operation in genuine cases to a maximum limit for any engineer who falls a prey to a legal battle. The membership will be mandatory.
